Tasting notes
This 2024 ‘Les Darons’ is 70% Grenache and 30% Syrah, organically farmed. The Grenache is from 30+ year old vines and the Syrah is from 20+ year old vines, both grown in La Clape and the Haut Corbières on clay and limestone soils with lacustre, éclat, gypsum and sand. Les Darons is an accessible wine with loads of character. Packed with ripe, red and dark fruit aromas, this Languedoc red has plenty of spice and a streak of underlying minerality.
