Bodegas Muga Tasting 2/1/26
Sunday, February 1st at 5:30pm, Tasting Wines from Bodegas Muga with Georges-Phillipe Bouyer
Bodegas Muga is Rioja Alta’s premier producer, and the Muga family is unanimously considered to be one of Spain’s most important winemaking families. Bodegas Muga is a family business, founded by Isaac Muga and Aurora Caño in 1932, and is located in the historic Barrio de La Estación (Station Quarter) of Haro. The winery has practically legendary status due to its philosophy revolving around adherence to tradition, dynamism, and winemaking of the highest quality. Few producers in the world fashion wines that have such a sense of tradition and place as Mugas. Their wines have an absolutely distinct, unique, and inimitable profile.
Please join us at TWM as we taste through a range of 6 of the Muga family’s wines (noted below) as presented by TWM favorite, Georges-Phillipe Bouyer. Don't be fooled by his French accent, GP studied in Spain and speaks very good Spanish. It's sure to be a fun evening.
