Château Corbin 'Divin de Corbin' Saint-Émilion 2021
Since 1924, Château Corbin has been in the hands of the same family. Passed down from generation to generation by female heirs, it is today the property of Anabelle Cruse, the fourth generation, and her husband Sébastien Bardinet. Already as a child, Anabelle spent harvest at Corbin. Later, as a student, she would come to the estate every week, fondly sharing precious moments with her grandmother, Marie-Josephe Blanchard Giraud. It was these moments they spent together that helped Anabelle develop a love of the place, its vines, the estate -Corbin in its entirety.
Since those times, thanks to hard work and investments, she has been able to give Corbin its soul, its strength and its identity, while at the same time enhancing the prestige of its terroir, always with excellence as her ultimate goal.
Tasting notes
It is recommended to decant the 20231 Divin de Corbin about an hour before tasting to aerate the wine and release its complex aromas. During the tasting phase, observe its deep ruby color, which hints at a wealth of flavors. Then, smell it to detect notes of dark fruits, mild spices, and undergrowth. Finally, taste the wine, enjoying its balanced structure and well-integrated tannins, which make it a perfect companion at the table.

This is a seriously structured wine. Bold tannins and ripe black fruits come together in a wine that is solid while keeping a light touch of acidity. It needs to age further, so wait to drink until 2027. - Wine Enthusiast, 92 pts
