Bodegas Krontiras miKron Malbec 2024
Bodegas Krontiras was created in 2004 by Constantinos Krontiras and Silvina Macipe-Krontiras. Their love for Argentina and their passion for good wine gave birth to a family owned, organic and biodynamic project whose wines offer a distinguished natural expression of the Mendoza terroir. They are dedicated in the production of natural wines through organic and biodynamic growing. They create their wines letting nature do its work, using wild yeast and intervening as less as possible. They respect the land and try to make the best of its gifts. They work with absolute traceability so that every wine enthusiast knows that their wines come directly from their estate grapes. They are very proud to be the first wine project in Mendoza to process its organic and biodynamic grapes in its own certified organic and biodynamic winery.
Tasting notes
With no aging in oak barrels, this young, fresh and fruity Malbec breaks all the rules. The 2024 is an opaque deep purple. Aromas of dense black fruit, sour cherry, blackberry and blueberry accompanied by notes of dried flowers and anise. The palate is bright, juicy and appealing, with floral blackberry fruit and crunchy acidity. A natural wine without the slightest hint of funk.
