Burgundy Seminar, Côte de Beaune, 9/7/2025

Please join Tacoma Wine Merchants and Chris Stambaugh of Galaxy Wine Imports for the first of a two-part seminar and tasting exploring the wines from the iconic Cote d’Or in Burgundy, birthplace of two of the world’s most important wine grape varietals, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.  Vineyards in this region have been tended to for over 1500 years, and continue to produce some of the most coveted wines in the world.  

The first tasting, this Sunday, September 7 at 5:30pm, we will sit down with Chris and explore the wines of the Côte de Beaune, the southern half of this historical and vitally important region in France.  We will host an upcoming part two of the seminar, and will be focusing on the wines of the Côte de Nuits, with a date being worked out currently.

We will be learning about the region and villages of the Cote de Beaune, all while tasting the below curated selection of six wines, three white Burgundies and three reds.  Prices listed below are retail, they will be sold at the tasting with a discount as a thank you for attending. Please note some are only available in very small quantities.
