Summer Soirée, August 16th, 5-7:30pm

Please join us at TWM on August 16th for a special Summer Soirée Tasting from 5-7:30pm as we experience many of the finest wines on the planet, all to benefit a very personal cause for our family.  We will be raiding our cellar and opening exceptionally fine bottles from around the world in a casual and festive fashion, with proceeds going towards a study abroad program in Rome for our oldest son, Wilson, this Autumn.  

Wilson has been working diligently and tirelessly at the University of Washington in his Architecture and Construction Management dual degree, where he will be a senior this Fall.  He has been fortunate to be accepted to their study abroad program in the heart of Rome (Campo del Fiore) and is beyond excited to attend.  However, this was an unanticipated tuition expense, so he is working hard to raise the requisite tuition.  We thought we could help in the tastiest way possible— hosting an epic wine tasting event with some of the most collectible and sought after wines that can be found. And Wilson will be joining us at the event (he’ll probably be near the Chateau d’Yquem!).

First Growth Bordeaux? Yes.  Premier Cru and Grand Cru Burgundy? Yep.  Exceptional vintage Champagne? Check.  100 Point wines? Yes!  Highly collectibles out of large format? Sure thing, and much more from the Old World and the New World alike. Yes, it is a rather pricey event, but we assure you the wine will be well worth the entry fee, and promises to be an unforgettable wine tasting! Most wines poured are soley for the tasting experience, but some wines may be available for purchase.

Registration is required. Last call at the shop on Saturday, August 16th will be at 4pm, with the tasting beginning at 5pm (last pour at 7:30pm).

$195/per person or $175 /per wine club member (make sure you sign into your account to receive the member pricing or call the shop)
