La Croix Gratiot Rouge Cerise 2024
At the heart of the Languedoc and Picpoul de Pinet appellations, in Montagnac, the La Croix Gratiot estate is rooted in a rich terroir. Nestled on clay-limestone hills and caressed by sea breezes laden with the scents of the garrigue, the vineyard stretches over 35 hectares.
Here, the passion for wine is passed from father to daughter. Yves, along with his brother Hugues, cultivated the vines on the family lands before founding the cellar in 2004. His daughter, Anaïs, after traveling the world and enhancing her expertise, returned to her family roots, determined to continue the family’s principles and practices on her family’s land.
Their philosophy is grounded in a deep respect for nature, the terroir, and humanity. Guided by biodynamic and organic principles, the family aspires to viticulture that lives in harmony with its ecosystem, valuing biodiversity and environmental balance.
Not only does it have 'Cherry' in its name, but you can also find it in the aroma! A true friend's wine, indulgent, light, fruity. It is also round in the mouth with a beautiful persistence, a slightly spicy finish, and refreshing acidity.
Light garnet color, pretty fruit on the nose, nuances of ripe stone fruits such as morello cherries, blackberries and licorice stick. The mouth is delicious and crunchy where we find the aromas perceived on the nose. A seductive wine. Meant to be drunk young. You can serve slightly chilled, this vintage will pleasantly accompany your aperitifs with friends, grilled meats and your chocolate desserts.
