Champagne Goulin-Roualet 'Saint Vincent' Premier Cru Brut Nature NV
Champagne house Goulin-Roualet was founded through the marriage of M. Goulin and Mlle Roualet, as well as their respective family vineyards, drawing on three generations of viticulture.
The winery prides itself on its commitment to quality and environmental sustainability. Their vineyards host the three primary Champagne grape varieties, allowing them to produce a diverse range of cuvées, mainly in the commune of Sacy and the two villages which surround it as well as a plot at "Mont-Benoît" in Villers-aux-Noeuds. They practice grassing and shallow plowing to preserve the structure of the soil and the life within it. They use sexual confusion: this bio-technical technique disrupts the coming together of male and female butterflies. The number of caterpillars is therefore reduced as well as the associated damage to the plant, all without the use of insecticides. Additionally, rather than removing or burning discarded vine shoots, they grind them to reincorporate them into the soil while nourishing it. A few examples of their commitment to the environment. The winery has also been certified by Terra Vitis since 2018.
