Baron de Montfaucon Côtes du Rhône Blanc 2022
Just across the Rhône river from the esteemed vineyards of Châteauneuf-du-Pape, the Montfaucon 88-acre estate is owned and operated by Rodolphe de Pins, a UC Davis graduate and former member of the winemaking staff at Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe. And while the Chateau has been in existence since the 15th century, it wasn't until 1995, when Rudy returned home to take over the family operations, that Montfaucon began making true estate wines. Up until that point, Montfaucon had mostly sold its grapes to cooperatives in the region, working as a grower rather than a producer.
