Château Gloria 'Esprit de Gloria' Saint-Julien 2018
Château Gloria, founded in 1942 by Henri Martin of Medoc, who with passion created a 50 hectare vineyard over the course of several decades through the acquisition of parcels exclusively from Grands Crus classified in 1855. Today, the vineyard, located close to Château Leoville Poyferre and Château Beychevelle, is renowned and carries within it the terroir and grape varieties typical of Saint-Julien. The classic Left Bank Bordeaux vineyards are planted 65% to Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot. Organic and biodynamic practices are used in the vineyards. Manual harvesting and traditional winemaking wine produce powerful wines that are faithful year after year, expressing a fruit character and silky palate with success.

The second wine of Château Gloria, this shows a sophisticated structure that gives richness as well as good balance. The structure and bright fruits are already softening to promise great things from 2025. - Wine Enthusiast, 93 pts
