This Saumur rouge is presumably from younger vines and is lovely. You’ll love the black cherry and raspberry notes with subtle touches of violet on the nose, followed by loads of vibrant cherry and black plum fruit on the palate. Mild tannins and a medium body make this a silky sipper. This chillable red strikes a perfect balance of fruit, acidic tension, grip, and concentration.
