Weingut Becker Landgraf Grauburgunder Trocken 2022
Spouses and business partners Julia Becker-Landgraf and Johannes Landgraf bring a rich history from both sides of their families: The Becker estate was established in 1783 and the Landgraf history reaches back to the mid-1700s! So, when Julia and Johannes combined forces to form Weingut Becker Landgraf, two of Rheinhessen’s wine dynasties were fused together. Together, this dynamic duo is steeped in centuries of winemaking experience and, with their massive push to farm sustainably, you can taste every flavorful nuance and each layered texture.
Tasting notes
Classic Pinot Gris with a fine, elegant minerality. The wine has a pleasantly soft acidity, nice melting with a fine spice.
Production notes
100 % stainless steel
The harvest is followed by a short maceration of 6 to 12 hours. The musts remain unadorned and are fermented spontaneously with the grape's own yeast in stainless steel. The fermented wines also remain unadorned until they are filled on the yeast.
