90-92 Points, Jasper Morris/Inside Burgundy:
Made in 4 new barrels and one foudre so tasted from the latter. A fine bright purple. reductive, perhaps there are more lees in the big barrel. A significant weight of fruit here, plenty of raspberry in the mix, good acidity, a fine structure and excellent persistence. Drink from 2025-2030.
89-92 Burghound:
Beautifully layered aromas include those of essence of red berries, rose petal and a touch of crushed fennel. There is fine mid-palate density to the delicious and energetic medium weight flavors that display focused power on the overly austere and mildly rustic if sneaky long finish. This is really quite good though a wine that will definitely need at least a few years of bottle aging first. Worth considering. *Burghound Outstanding!*
