50% Marlborough; 50% Gisborne. FRENZY captures the spirit of New Zealand. A harmonious blend of pristine quality Sauvignon Blanc sourced from both the North and South Islands. Parcels from select vineyards in Marlborough, located on the northeastern tip of the South Island, deliver energetic aromas of grapefruit, herbs and fresh cut lemongrass. Here, vineyards are conditioned by persistent ocean breezes. Soils rich in volcanic Greywacke stone and alluvial river silt lend complex minerality. The remainder of the blend is sourced from Gisborne, one of the warmest winegrowing regions of New Zealand. Located on the easternmost peninsula of New Zealand’s North Island, vines are sheltered by coastal hillsides and mountain ranges. Soils of fine clay and silt loam retain moisture, lending high toned acidity and ripe tropical notes of passionfruit and melon.
