Limited Addition (Ltd +) Wines are handcrafted by Chad & Bree Stock of Constant Crush. Chad Stock holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Enology from California State University Fresno graduating in 2006 with top honors and the University Academic Achievement Award for his graduating class. Bree Stock has been a Master of Wine (MW) since 2016, holding one of the highest qualifications in the wine industry. She is Oregon’s first MW and the only female MW in the Pacific Northwest. Ltd + Wines are personal, handmade wines raised from Chad and Bree’s long collaborations with inspired farmers to develop a diverse and sustainable wine landscape in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. They are committed to expanding the conversation around sustainable practices in the wine industry; this is not limited just to farming philosophies but is also deeply rooted in a commitment to farmers and farm-workers who rely on the wine industry to sustain them. For these reasons (along with Chad’s constant need to explore the possibilities), Ltd+ works with a unique assortment of early, mid, and late-ripening grape varieties that allow labor to extend throughout the growing season, which helps provide economic security to farmers and farm-workers. Limited Addition wines are made as the vintage dictates and inspires. Additive-free and without recipe, there is just a curiosity to express the best of the grape and the place from a given moment in time.

Other notes

The Pinot gris was fermented on its skins for 5 days until the Muscat was harvested. Harvested in late September the Muscat provided the expressive aromatic fruit and acidity to support the depth and weight of the skin-contact Pinot gris, combined the juice measured 21 brix. The varieties were gently pressed together and taken to tank with their solids for natural fermentation with minimal oxygen to protect the delicate terpene compounds inherent to the Muscat.

The Riesling comes from an old vine, 1979 plantings, of own-rooted biodynamically farmed vineyard in the South Salem Hills, Vitae Springs. The addition of Riesling to this blend brings a mineral-citrus energy line to this wine and an orchard fruit-tinged phenolic depth that teases the palate and dances with the bright aromatics of this wine.
